I APOLOGIZE x Jean Luc Verna Group

Concert performatif

The band I Apologize revisits songs or melodies, regardless of gender. Initiated by Jean-Luc Verna, a visual artist who juggles his body, drawings, sculptures and "photographic self-portraits", the group reinterprets famous images of art history, the installation of statues, the "tunes of the repertoire": Siouxsie and the Banshees, T-Rex, Sex Pistols, Bauhaus, Donna Summer, Georges Brun, Barbara, Killing Joke, Cerrone, all full of compositions. Pascal Marius, guitarist, participates in the arrangement of remixes and compositions. Gauthier Tassart, a visual artist, is at the heart of this trio and unfolds custom loops, effects, synthesizers and keyboards.

I APOLOGIZE performed this summer at the Venice Biennale as part of an invitation from Palazzo Grassi to rock bands founded by contemporary artists.

His plastic work is represented by the Air gallery in Paris, presented in Beaubourg, Pompidou, Mac/Val, Quai Branly...
